MAUD — Brady Arms rushed for three touchdowns and Lane Brooks recorded two scoring passes Friday night as Maud blitzed Sasakwa 54-6 to improve to 2-0.

Arms, the leading rusher with 120 yards on 18 carries, scored on first-half runs of 7, 29 and 35 yards as the Tigers carried a 40-6 lead to intermission.

Brooks connected with Caleb Duncan on scoring passes of 50 and 40 yards in the first half, then notched a 4-yard scoring run in the second half.

Bryxton Sanders posted a 24-yard interception return for a TD and Bobby Watson closed the scoring with a 4-yard run with 11 minutes to play. That final TD concluded the game via the mercy rule.

Brooks completed 7 of 13 passes for 212 yards. Bryce Bodkin completed his only pass for 14 yards.

Sanders fielded two passes for 82 yards. Arms had two receptions for 31 yards.

Brooks rushed for 44 yards on seven carries.

Maud will travel to Paoli Friday, Sept. 14.
