CHANDLER — Chandler packed all of its scoring in the bottom of the fifth inning en route to a 4-3 trimming of Seminole Thursday.

Seminole led 3-0 when Chandler turned the table in the fifth. Two of the Lion runs came off Seminole’s only error.

Seminole hurler Kaylyn Cotner permitted three hits, struck out two and walked four.

Chandler winning pitcher Makalyn Herring, who threw 77 pitches in seven innings, gave up three runs, all unearned, and five hits. She didn’t issue a base on balls and fanned three.

Kelsey Williams, Abbey Russell, Morgan Fowble and Herring posted a single apiece for Chandler. Russell drove in two runs.

Julian Fowler of Chandler reached base three times as a hit batsman.

Sienna Deatherage led Seminole with a single and double. Hayden Harjo doubled and scored twice.

Chandler, 19-7, will go to Meeker Monday for a 5 p.m. game.

Seminole will be home at 5 p.m. Monday against McGuinness.
