Three people were injured, including a woman and child from Shawnee, in a Seminole County accident over the weekend.

The crash occurred early Saturday evening on US 270, just north of Lima.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Amber Smith, 36, from Shawnee, was northbound on CR NS 3600 when she failed to stop at a stop sign.

Her vehicle entered US 270 in front of a 2010 Mercury Milan driven by Lester Floyd, 56, Wewoka.

Floyd was pinned about 20 minutes in the wreckage and was taken by Medi-Flight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in stable condition with multiple internal injuries.

Smith was transported by Seminole Fire Department to Seminole Hospital, where she was admitted in stable condition with internal, external, and leg injuries.

Her 10-year-old female passenger, whose name was withheld, also was transported by Seminole Fire Department to Seminole Hospital, where she was admitted in stable condition with internal, external, and leg injuries.

Troopers said seat belts were equipped and in use by all occupants.
