Shawnee students will be going to school Friday, Feb. 5, for a full day.
Superintendent Marilyn Bradford said “because of missing three days of school due to ice and snow conditions, we’re having a regular school day to make up one of the missed days.”
She continued by saying the “calendar had three days built in for snow days and any additional missed days will now push make up days into June,” Bradford said. “Staff and parents have asked if students could be in school Friday counting as a make up day. Therefore, we’re having a regular school day on Friday.”
