Local graduates from Marine Corps boot camp

PFC Adam Kahl, 18, of Bethel, graduated from the U.S. Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, Calif., Nov. 21. Kahl successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training as on of the 85 recruits in Training Platoon Delta 1063.
While in basic training, he shot expert on the rifle range, qualified second class swim and was a fire team leader. Kahl will spend 10 days at home on leave and 28 days as a recruiter’s assistant. He then will report to Camp Pendleton for one moth at military combat training, and he will report to Camp LeJeune for military occupation specialty school.
