A Shawnee man charged in September with 10 felony counts relating to juvenile pornography has pleaded not guilty in the case.

Don Gregory Meadows, 46, appeared for a docket hearing Wednesday in Pottawatomie County District Court, where he entrered his formal plea. The case is now set for the docket on May 29.

Meadows is charged for alleged incidents occurring over the last 11 years, court records show.

Charges were filed following a case investigated by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. A tip from authorities in Washington led to the local probe after a pornographic video was e-mailed to a resident in Seattle, Wash., according to court documents.

The Oklahoma ICAC Unit was notified about an unknown person from Oklahoma distributing child pornography, with OSBI agents and analysts determining that person to be Meadows, agents said.

As a result of the OSBI probe, agents and Pottawatomie County sheriff’s deputies arrested Meadows on Aug. 30 at his home, 702 N. Pennsylvania. He was released from jail days later after posting a $100,000 bond.

Prosecutors charged him with three counts of production of juvenile pornography, one count of distribution of child pornography, two counts of aggravated possession of child pornography and the four counts of lewd molestation.

In the counts of production of juvenile pornography, Meadows is accused of producing photographs and/or videos which depict a minor under age 18.
For distribution of child pornography, Meadows is accused of distributing a video containing child pornography, by e-mail, to a man in Seattle, Wash., the charge reads.

On the two counts of aggravated possession of child pornography, he is accused of possessing a computer thumb drive that contained over 2,000 images of child pornography and a laptop computer with more than 700 images.

In the four counts of lewd molestation, Meadows is accused of performing inappropriate sexual acts with three juveniles who were under age 16.
