FireLake and FireLake Grand Casino will collect new toys for area children. Each toy donated will be given to the Pottawatomie County Salvation Army for their Angel Tree campaign.
“The Citizen Potawatomi Nation and FireLake Enterprises consider giving back to the community a privilege,” said Brad Peltier, director of marketing.
“Our staff is joining in this effort by donating money and purchasing toys for the drive. We are striving to collect at least 1,000 toys for the children in our area. With the help of our patrons, we are sure to reach that goal.”
People are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy worth $10 or more from Nov. 27 through Dec. 19 to the customer service desk and receive $10 Matchplay and 10 free entries for a chance to win a 2010 Lexus RX 350 from FireLake Grand Casino or a 2010 Chevy Colorado from FireLake Casino.
The 2010 Chevy Pickup will be given away on Saturday, Dec. 19 at FireLake Casino, and the 2010 Lexus RX 350 will be given away on Dec. 20 at FireLake Grand Casino at 7 p.m.
In addition to the toy drive, FireLake Grand Casino is organizing a coat drive to benefit Coats for Kids.
FireLake Casino is also adopting two area families to give them needed items and Christmas gifts so they can have a memorable holiday.
