A Chandler man was critically injured Thursday when his pickup struck a fence and rolled twice, ejecting him.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the accident occurred about 1:57 p.m. on U.S. 62, slightly west of County Road 3340 in Lincoln County.
A 1997 Chevrolet pickup driven by Rusty Dawn Harkins, 22, left the road for unknown reasons, the OHP said.
He was transported by MediFlight helicopter ambulance to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in critical condition with head injuries. He remained in critical condition late Friday, a hospital representative said.
The OHP said seat belts were not in use; cause of the collision is under investigation.
Troopers Tyson Wright and Kyle Winrow worked the scene with assistance from Kickapoo tribal police and the Jacktown Fire Department.
