The Prague FFA will host the Red Devil Classic Cook-out beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14.
Tickets prices are $100 for two meals, with children’s meals available at $5. Dinners will include steak, baked potato, vegetable, hot rolls and desert. Entertainment will be provided by a live country band while the FFA members serve dinner.
During the past two years, the cook-out event has been very successful due to the level of support from parents, community members and various supporters of the FFA program. In the past, funds raised have been used to build fence in front of the school farm, purchase gravel to construct a road leading into the school’s farm and rebuilt north wall in the show barn.
The cook-out has helped sponsor two 4-H scholarships and two FFA scholarships. Funds raised will continue to help support the building success of the Prague FFA Chapter.
Tickets can be purchased at Hinson Insurance (see Darrin Terrell), The Fillin’ Station (see Heather Capron) or by contacting Wendy Slusher — Agricultural Educator, 540-578-4908, or Charles Imhoff, 405-567-2911.
Tickets purchased before Aug. 7 will have the name of the purchaser or business on the slideshow during the event. Those seeking political office or currently serving a term will be recognized at the cook-out event. Tickets are limited.
