Local woman installed as ESA officer

SHAWNEE, Okla. —

Lora Thompson, Shawnee, was recently installed as District 4 vice coordinator of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. The ceremony was held at the Greiner School for the Handicapped in Lawton.
Thompson has served as recording secretary and parliamentarian prior to her election as vice coordinator. She will assume the office next year.
Thompson joined Epsilon Sigma Alpha in 1979 and is a member of the Zeta Gamma chapter. She served as president of the Oklahoma State Council in 1997.
Other Zeta Gamma chapter members serving on the district board are Michelle McKnight, parliamentarian; Mary Toole, junior past coordinator; and Lola Jaegers, ways and means chairman.
