The Pottawatomie County Cattle Producers Association and the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service will co-sponsor an estate planning seminar 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29. The meeting will be held at the Tecumseh Ag-Ed Building on the campus of Tecumseh High School.
OSU Assistant Professor Shannon Ferrell, who teaches Ag, will be on hand to lead the discussion. He will discuss many of the estate planning options available and will discuss some of the pitfalls that may be out there if an individual fails to act. His discussion will center around the law and how it affects estates. Although Ferrell can’t give specific counsel case-by-case, he will offer many ideas on proper transference of properties and assets.
Gilbert Insurance Agency, American Farmers and Ranchers, Tecumseh, will be serving a meal that evening. Interested parties need to RSVP to the OSU Extension Center, 273-7683, no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday. The program is free and open to all interested.
