Casino collecting school equipment

FireLake Grand Casino in Shawnee is collecting new school supplies to benefit Positive Tomorrows, a private, non-tuition school serving homeless and at-risk children in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. 
“The work being done at Positive Tomorrows is amazing,” said Brad Peltier, director of marketing for FireLake Grand Casino. “These kids don’t have a normal life. They don’t know where they will be sleeping or if they will have a hot meal. Positive Tomorrows gives them a sense of stability.”
FireLake Grand Casino is asking Oklahoma residents to take part in this drive by bringing new school supplies to the casino until Sept. 14. Donations may be dropped off at the customer service desk. Items requested range from child-size scissors to pocket folders to backpacks.
