Local man hospitalized after single-vehicle accident

A local man was airlifted to an Oklahoma City hospital late Friday night following a single-vehicle accident in Tecumseh.
Tecumseh Police Lt. J.R. Kidney said the accident occurred at 13th Street and Benson Park Road, where a vehicle driven by Lance Briggs struck a tree.
Briggs suffered serious injuries and was taken by REACT EMS ambulance  to Unity Health Center’s South Campus, Kidney said.
Briggs was then transferred by Medi Flight helicopter to an Oklahoma City hospital.
Saturday afternoon, an OU Medical Center representative said Briggs was listed in good condition.
The Tecumseh Police Department is investigating the accident, which occured in its city limits.
