HOSA classes elect officers

SHAWNEE, Okla. —

Students in Ashley Fichtner’s Health Careers Certification classes at Gordon Cooper Technology Center recently elected and installed officers for their chapter of the student organization Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA).
Morning class officers are Kaleigh Jones, Shawnee High School, president; Kierstin Hudson, Butner High School, vice president; Jelisa Bruner, Seminole High School, secretary; Haley Caldwell, Meeker home school, treasurer; Melanie Ewing, Earlsboro High School, reporter; Derrek Mitchell, Butner High School, sentinel; Shalyn Grass, Shawnee High School, parliamentarian; Katie Moore, Chandler High School, historian; and Megan Hall, Meeker High School, inspirational leader.
Afternoon class officers are Brianna Chaffin, Bethel High School, president; Bailey Alley, Prague High School, vice president; Mariah Melton, Chandler High School, secretary; Kayla Dixon, Shawnee High School, treasurer; Whitley Peltier, Oklahoma Virtual High School, reporter; Velda Vandergriff, Varnum High School, sentinel; Julie Taff, Shawnee High School, parliamentarian; Brianna Etheridge, Dale High School, historian; and Sara Haley, Bethel High School, inspirational leader.
