Earlsboro HS reunion banquet held

Earlsboro High School alumni met June 13, for their annual banquet, which had a “Prom Night” theme this year.
A baseball game started the festivities on Friday night, with at least 25 alumni playing in the game. Saturday began with horseshoes and bingo. First place winners at horseshoes were Mark Blocker and Ronnie Chambers. Second place went to Kent Crow and Wayne Mize.
Entertainment was provided by, the Don Woolery trio, including Jim Bowers on drums, Woolery on piano and Clayton Lewis, a 1965 graduate of EHS, played bass.
The Souders family was the largest family attending with nine members and the largest class was 1959, celebrating 50 years with 12 alumni in attendance.
The eldest graduates present including Wanetta Reynolds, class of 1934, and Pauline Crane and Cecil Johnston, class of 1939, all from Shawnee.
First time attendees included Jackie Montgomery, Pueblo, Colo., class of 1961. Johnny Williams, Atoka Oklahoma, class of 1965. Wanetta Reynolds, Shawnee, class of 1934.

Calvin Cowen was crowned king and Betty Utt as queen, in keeping the “Prom Night” theme.
Traveling the greatest distance to attend was Adam and Betty (Permetter) Falato, from Washington D.C.
