WHITEFIELD, Okla. (AP) —

Two people were killed in a two-car collision on a county road in Haskell County near the town of Whitefield.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says James Weathers of Porum and Kelly Denise Ward of Quinton died in the crash just before 5:15 Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers say Weathers and Ward were in a car driven by Weathers when he ran a stop sign and was hit in the driver's side by a Jeep.

Another passenger in Weathers' car and one in the Jeep are hospitalized in serious condition while two other people in the Jeep were treated and released.
