Jane Craven

Shawnee resident Jane Craven, 82, went to be with her Lord on Nov. 1, 2009 in Shawnee.
She was born Nov. 4, 1926 in Shawnee to George and Hattie (Douglas) Elliott.
She married Alfred Glen Craven on Feb. 22, 1946 in Shawnee. Jane was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Glenda Driver; six brothers and five sisters.
Those left to cherish their memories are her children Alfred Craven, Jr. and wife Oma of Texas, Charles Ivan Craven and wife Charlotte of Texas, Judith Berengue and husband Eddie of California, and Donna One Star of South Dakota; brother, John “Pedro” Elliott of Cushing; sister, Maxine “Pug” Bryce of Shawnee; sister-in-law, Juanita “Wendy” Elliott; grandchildren, Eddie A Berengue, Mandy Rhodd, Jason Johnson, Davena Johnson, Marshal Davlin, Grace One Star, and Clara Jane Craven; seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Home with Brother Bill Matthews and Brother Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
