Tecumseh resident Lois Satterfield died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, in Midwest City at the age of 85.
She was born Dec. 21, 1923, in Ulan, Okla., to Gus W. and Sular (Green) Baker. Born in Ulan, she was raised in Crowder. She has also lived in Bakersfield, Calif., McAlester, Okla., and Kansas City, Mo., and was a longtime resident of Raytown, Mo.
She went to school in Indianola and graduated from Crowder High School.
She worked for Sunshine Biscuit Company in Kansas City, Kan., retiring after 35 years. She also worked on the election board in Missouri and was an officer of the Baker’s union. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Raytown and most recently a member of the First Baptist Church of Tecumseh. She was a big fan of the KC Chiefs and Royals.
She was preceded in death by  her parents; one brother, Cecil Baker; one sister,  Agnes Baker; and two great-grandsons, Jacob Dahlgren and Jonah Delos Santos.
Survivors include two  daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Al  Smith of Shawnee and Patsy and Jim Edmondson of Asher; seven grandchildren, Terri Dahlgreen, Fred D. Warren III, Thomas J. Warren, Tracey Delos Santos, Laura Russell, Deborah Renchen and Jimmie Edmondson; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to visit with friends.
Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the First Baptist Church of Tecumseh  with Dr. Russell Cook officiating. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery.
