SHAWNEE, Okla. —

Dale resident Hattie E. Thompson Ramsey Tanksley died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at her home at the age of 91.  
She was born March 13, 1917,  in Giles County, Tenn., to William Edmond and Martha Etna (Garner) Thompson.
 She came to Dale on a train with her family in 1920 and had made her home in Dale since.
She marred C. Bud Ramsey on March 25, 1940. He died March 18, 1976. She later married Harvie Tanksley on July 1, 1977. He died Jan. 17, 1989.
Hattie was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was active in youth church camp, her church, family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, both husbands, five brothers, and two sisters.
 Survivors from her marriage to Bud Ramsey include two daughters, Glenda Ramsey of Dale and Martha LaCrosse of Arkansas City, Kan.; son, Rick Ramsey of Dale; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
From her marriage to Harvie Tanksley four sons, Don, Bill, Elvin Ray and Marshall Tanksley; daughter, Ann Graham; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 23 great-greatgrandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Dale Church of Christ with Dewayne Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Dale Cemetery.

Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee is directing arrangements.
