Shawnee resident Ada Louise Drake, 67, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
Ada was born Sept. 15, 1942 to Val and Delorse Roberts. Ada spent most of her life growing up in Ft. Worth, Texas. She moved to Oklahoma in 2003. Ada loved life and people and would want everyone to keep life colorful. She always wanted everyone to remember to laugh.
Ada is preceded in death by her parents Val and Delores Roberts.
Ada leaves behind to cherish her memories, 1 son Thaland Roberts and wife Michelle of Amarillo, Texas; one daughter, Theresa Roberts of Shawnee; four grandchildren, Tarra Boyd, William Lowery, Jamie Opp, and Zackery Roberts; three great-grandchildren, Joey Heath Jr., Marshall Lowery, Vegas Brown; and lifelong friends, Johnny and Penny Campbell, Patricia Burkett, Anna Duke, Charles Burnett.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at The Church of God, 1032 E. 11th, Shawnee, OK with Pastor Donald Pate officiating.
