Del City resident, formerly of Tecumseh, Ozeta (Stewart) Bradford Reeves, 95, passed away Friday, May 9, 2008 in Midwest City.
She was born Sept. 2, 1912 in Seminole to Frank and Ida (Collier) Stewart. She was reared on the family farm and lived in the Shawnee/Tecumseh area. She later lived in Oklahoma City, moving back to Tecumseh in 1978. She was living in Del City at the time of her death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Tecumseh.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Roy Bradford in 1976; her second husband, Ernest “Bub” Reeves in 1991; and 4 sisters: Gladys Rutledge, LaVerne Richardson, Daisy Cope and Pauline O'Neal.
She is survived by her nieces and their spouses, Peggy D. and Bill Farris and Jackie and Robert Ponder - all of Oklahoma City; and JoRita and Cole Tidwell of Ardmore; and her nephews and spouses, Don and Linda Wilson of Midwest City; Frank A. Rutledge of Ardmore; Robert Richardson and Mike Richardson - both of Oklahoma City; and Steve Hoffman of Springdale, Ark.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with Rev. Delbert Akin officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
