Laverne K. Nease

Shawnee resident Laverne K. Nease, 86, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at her home.         
She was born May 12, 1921, Asher to Earl and Ima Marie (Coleman) Lowden.
She attended Asher Schools
She was married to A.L. Nease.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church in Asher. She lived in Shawnee most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister and brother.
Survivors include two sons, Ron and wife Karen Nease of Shawnee and Stanley and wife Ann Nease of Shawnee; daughter, Linda and husband Richard Suttle of Norman; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Morene Lowden of Tecumseh; and other relatives.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Taylor officiating.
