Yoma McMullin of Cedar Park, Texas, was called home to her eternal rest on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009. Yoma was born Dec.2, 1956, in Monclova, Coah. Mexico. Yoma grew up in Shawnee.
Yoma was preceded in death by her father, Andrew McMullin; sister, Matilda Lecot and nephew James Roy McMullin.
She is survived by spouse, George Wilcox; mother, Rosa McMullin; daughter, Andrea Ortiz; son, Eli Gonzalez; four grandchildren, Aaron and Isabelle Ortiz, Katelyn and Emily Gonzalez; siblings, Estella Aguilera, Lupe McCoy and husband Marvin, brother-in-law, Lionel Lecot, Sergio Flores, Roy McMullin and wife Diana, Joel McMullin, Marcus McMullin, Rosanna Wisener and husband Fred and Sandra Gray and husband Jimmy; nieces and nephews, Alexandrine Lecot, John Lecot, Mitch McCoy, Diane Espiritu, Andrew Wisener, Lauren Wisener, Meagan Gray and Cameron Gray.
In the fall of 1988 Yoma met her spouse, George Wilcox whom she was with until the end of her courageous battle with cancer. Yoma was a very free spirit which in turn carried her through all of her adventures. Yoma's biggest gift was her ability to love everyone and show others how to love.
Yoma's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Hospice Austin for their benevolence in helping our family care for Yoma at her home during the last three weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov.21, in the memorial chapel of Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park.
