Earlsboro resident Lea Ann Cox died Wednesday, Nov. 18, in Shawnee at the age of 51.             
She was born Dec. 30, 1957, in Shawnee to Donald Lee Treat and Wanda (Hartman) Treat.
She graduated from Earlsboro High School.
On Jan. 9, 1978, she married Dewayne Cox  in Holdenville.
Lea worked as a housewife, homemaker and also worked as a cook. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, crafts, camping, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by  her father, Donald Lee Treat.
Survivors include her husband Dewayne Cox of the home; two sons, Buddy Wayne Cox and Angela Yancey of the home and Joseph Lee Cox and Brittany Owens of the home; four grandchildlren, Sadee Yancey,  Jax Yancey, Howie Yancey and  Kayla Cox; mother, Wanda Treat of Earlsboro; brothers and sisters, Latisha and Mark Mitchell of Earlsboro,  Mark and Renee Treat of Prague, Mike and Connie Treat of Haywood, Kan., Raymond Treat of Shawnee, Robert Treat of Seminole, and Donna Treat of Shawnee,and adopted brother, Kenneth Branson  of Shawnee; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
 Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery with Junior Mize officiating.
