Jerry took his final journey to the Lord’s house on Saturday, July 24, 2010 after a brief illness.
He was nicknamed Pa or Pepaw by his grandchildren and his family was very important to him.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Bob and Pauline Garretson and brother, Bobby.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Loretta Garretson of the home; one brother, James of Texas and his dog Baby; five children, Jay of Tulsa, Jeff of Mo., Chris of Tulsa, Kelle of McLoud, and Shelle of Newalla; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lewis Walters officiatingunder the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
