Shawnee resident Cleva McInturff, 70, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009, at her lakeside residence.
She was born Aug. 29, 1938, in Oaklawn, Okla., to Robert (Bob) and Lillie Christian.
Cleva married Tommy M. McInturff and enjoyed 50 years together. She was a homemaker and her sole occupation was being the family matriarch. She loved her dogs, cat and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Pete Christian; and brothers-in-law, Charles McInturff, and Gerald McInturff.
She was survived by her husband Tommy McInturff of the home: daughter, Kimberly Wilson of Shawnee; son, Tommy (T.K.) McInturff of Shawnee; five sisters, Bobbie, Blanch, Mary, Sylvene, and Peggy; one brother, Kim Christian; sister-in-laws, Betty, Mary, Carol, Barbara, Pat and Evelyn; brothers-in-law, Phillip, Steve, and Larry; three grandchildren, Tiffany Wilson of Shawnee, Jamie “Pawpadoodle” Pawpa of Shawnee, and Hank James of Shawnee; four great grandchildren, Jadyn Wilson, Josiah Pawpa, Kamryn James, and Britton James, all of Shawnee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at Resthaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
