James Edward LaChappell,

Shawnee resident James Edward LaChappell, 50, left this world on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009.
He was born on July 31, 1959.
He attended Hart Street Full Gospel Church. He loved his family and friends with all he had. He was a proud grandfather, father and loving husband. He will greatly be missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Irma Cora, and his father-in-law, Royce Hodge.
He is survived by his wife Joyce LaChappell; three kids of the home, Seirra May (Stinky May), Dalton Alexander and Darren Eugene LaChappell; son, Bradley LaChappell and girlfriend Shandee; daughter, Brittney LaChappell-Davis and grandson, Kenneth James (Booger Bear); two stepsons Rudy McElroy and wife Robin and Jason McElroy and wife Makenzie and their three children; one brother, Paul LaChappell and wife; and one sister, Tina Andrews and husband; along with many more family and friends.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Hart Street Full Gospel Church in Shawnee.
