Harrah resident Quincy Edmond Crosby departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in Harrah at the age of 90.
Quincy, the son of Quincy Vernon and Goldie Isabelle (Pendleton) Crosby, was born Jan.7, 1919, in Paden.
He married Mary Magdalene Moody on Feb.13, 1939, in Paden.
Quincy retired from Leeway Motor Freight in 1984.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Floyd Moore; three brothers; one sister; one son, Vernon Crosby; and one daughter, Judy Gail Hendricks.
Survivors include his wife Mary Crosby of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie and Lorene Crosby of Franktown, Colo., Darrel and Patricia Crosby of Midwest City, and Rickey and Kathy Crosby of McLoud; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Danny Manek of Harrah; sisters, Lenora Cook of Texas and Jewel Dean Fuller of Okemah; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 3, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 4, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 5.
Service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Paul Heard officiating. Burial will follow at Schoolton Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
