 Shawnee resident  Raymond “R.L.” Moore Sr., 90, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.
 He was born Oct. 10, 1919 in Woodville, Okla. to Edwin and Pearl Moore. He married Mavis Cahall March 17, 1984. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Cabot Corporation for 38 1⁄2 years and retired in 1984. Raymond was a member of Church of God. He loved spending time with hischildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a champion domino player and a recent bingo player.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Raymond Moore Jr. and Clifford Cahall.
Survivors include wife Mavis Moore; daughters, Pat Welch and husband Leroy of Shawnee, Sharron Ellison and husband Danny of Denison, Texas, Susie Cahall of Shawnee, Pearlene Peters of Berterum, Texas, Connie Moore of Temple, Texas; 11 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren
Family visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 at Walker Funeral Service.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at Oak Park Church of God with the Rev. Leroy Kerbo and the Rev. Kim Kerbo officiating. Burial will be at Johnson Cemetery.
