 Stephanie Marie Coughlin, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, in El Reno.  She was born to Oscar Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (Fox) Quinnett on Feb. 24, 1925 in Shawnee.
Mrs. Coughlin moved from Oklahoma City to Yukon in 1954.  She had a beautiful singing voice and was invited to join the Oklahoma City Opera, but met her husband and chose love over a career.  She spent her time raising her eight children and donating her spare time and talents to the church.  She was a dedicated member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon, where she was active in the Altar Society and Golden Sagers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard; parents; brother, David Quinnett and sister, Louise E. Samples. 
She is survived by sons, Pat Coughlin and wife Linda of Nacogdoches, Texas, Tim Coughlin and wife Gwyn of Yukon and Danny Coughlin and wife Kim of El Reno; daughters, Betsy Wheat of Plano, Texas, Michele Olson and husband Mike of Yukon, Jeannie Dickerson and husband Phil of Plano, Texas, Angie McGuire of Yukon, and Nina Wingfield and husband Bunky of Memphis, Tenn.; sister, Sharon Giddens of Abilene, Texas; 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives.
Memorial donations may be made to Birth Choice, 4701 S. Western, Oklahoma City,  OK  73109.
Wake and Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at the Yanda & Son  Chapel, Yukon, with Mass of Christian Burial being held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon.  Burial  will follow at the Yukon Cemetery.
