Obama wants a health care bill passed. He doesn’t care what it cost. He doesn’t care that we cannot afford it. It’s all about control. According to budget analysis, the health care plan will cost $871 billion over 10 years to implement. It would cover 29 million uninsured Americans by 2019.
A study by Price Waterhouse says the mandates in the bill would increase the cost of health insurance by $4,800 per family per year by 2019 over and above health care inflation expected under current law.
Another study by Oliver Wyman concluded that “average annual medical claims in the reformed individual market five years after reform are expected to be 50 percent higher compared to today, not including the impact of medical inflation.
This would translate into premium increases of approximately $1,500 for single coverage yearly and $3,300 for family coverage in today’s dollars for people purchasing new policies.
Most likely these two studies won’t even be in the ballpark when the actual cost comes in. Here is a good example.
Medicare was created as part of the Social Security Act Amendment in 1965 and was put into effect in 1966. Since then the cost has increased, not double, not triple but by 1,352 percent and Medicare will be broke by 2018. Obama plans to take $500 billion out of Medicare to help fund his universal health care plan. Medicare payments will be reduced by 25 percent.
Obama has lost the seniors. He cut off their Social Security cost of living increase. He decided later to send them a one-time $250 payoff check but the damage had already been done.
He keeps saying he will pass Cap and Trade. There are conflicting studies as to just how much it will cost every family in the country but it will be a few thousand dollars per year.
Here’s one example. Your electric bill will probably double. He said the coal-fired energy companies will see their cost skyrocket, 50 percent of the electricity generated in the United States is from coal.
For the last 11 years the earth has been cooling. So why is he doing this? The people I know can’t afford it. It’is all about control.
As Krauthammer said, “He wants to control three things, energy, education and health care.” It’s not only Rush Limbaugh who hopes Obama’s plans fail.
