There are a couple of things bugging me and I am sure the answer is eluding me so to the answer man I go and also a bit of information to a writer from last week.
All the sidewalk repair being done all over town as requested by one person, who may never travel some portions of town , but is also mandated by law who is paying for this work, and there is a lot of it either already done or to be done and he is still checking access areas all over. Not being wheelchair bound at the present time I can understand a portion of the need but not all.
What is estimated to be the total cost of this project and what effect does this have on the city budget especially when the city is crying broke.
Second, the young folks that are seen running down broadway or union in their little jogging attire, sometimes with parts of it off so everyone can see the manliness of them always seem to be at a busy time of day so I assume this is an after school hours activity for the cross country running team. Question is, if they have to run, why must they run on the public roadway holding up traffic at times at intersections or having people just stop and gawk? Is there a problem with these young people using the path around the airport for this? They would be off the road and have no stops to make from start to finish.
