In agreement with appreciation of Sparks
I very much agree with Marie Weehunt. What she wrote is very well-said about Brother Larry Sparks.
He is one of the best men God created and called to do His work. I know because I attend his church. Here is another bouquet of flowers, Brother Larry. God bless you and your family.
Flag placement sickening to some
I saw something at a baseball game that made me wonder about our neighbor to the south. I saw a Texas flag flying above the U.S. flag and I think that is absolutely sickening.

On Sunday, May 24, while we were having a meal at the Sunrise Chinese restaurant, my husband, a retired veteran in his USAF uniform and I were eating when some kind, unknown gentleman paid for our meal out of respect for veterans. This was very much appreciated and we thank you, sir.

I would like to thank Resthave Memorial Park for the wonderful service they had and also the volunteers Saturday, Sunday and Monday. That helped everyone so much. We thank you volunteers and thank you for helping us; thank you so much.
Caller wants to clarify Tecumseh pronunciation
I’ve lived in Tecumseh all my life and it still never ceases to amaze me at the people who pronounce Tecumseh wrong. It’s not TecumSEE; it’s TecumSUH.

I just read in the paper where another stupid drug dealer got put off the streets. Way to go Shawnee Police Department. Here’s a big ole pat on the back to all of you guys; keep it up. If we have to, we’ll build more jails. Get them stupid idiots off the streets.
