This is in reference to the person who was concerned about how people pronounce Tecumseh. I was also born and raised in TecumSUH and now I live on Adyelotte Street. Believe me, nobody knows how to pronounce Adyelotte. It’s pronounced A-D-E, ADE, L-O-T, LOT.
A Quick Fix
The West Slover Bridge across the Canadian River needs to be repaired very quickly and opened to traffic. There’s a tremendous lot of traffic coming from the west side of Shawnee and on Clear Pond Road, which goes across the Canadian River there on and joins the West Slover Street, and that bridge needs repaired soon.
Honesty
My husband and I would like to thank Detective Greg Gibson of the police department. We lost a set of keys, which had many valuable keys on it. He went through the trouble of calling Homeland grocery and gave them our Homeland card number. They gave him our phone number and my husband went and identified them. Also thanks to the honest person who turned the keys in.
