Saying no to taxes
I, for one, will not be voting “yes” on the bond issue for the public schools, these taxes are high enough as they are. They could have at least wait until the other one is paid off before they brought this one in.
New accounting?
I was thinking of those Tecumseh utility bills. On mine, I have one portion that is fixed every month, so it is fairly easy to figure the 5 percent increase that we were supposed to have not too long back. In figuring mine, I could see mine was too much. I took it in and told them so. Well, it hasn’t been changed yet. So that goes along with not ever getting credit back on those bills where they kept charging you the same thing for months some time back.
Service dates fluctuate
Speaking of the Tecumseh utility bills: I was going through my passed utility bills. The service here used to be, you know, like from the 30th to the 30th each month. But beginning in January, it began to vary. This month, it ended on 7-20-09. So I’ve lost 10 days on my garbage bills. It’s the same amount each month. If the service period keeps moving up, by this time next year, we’ll be paying for 13 months in a year instead of 12. Way to go, Tecumseh.
