Equal pay for equal labor says reader
In response to Howard Hall’s comment about women and pay. It’s a known fact that women have made less money than men and do just as well or better jobs than men. It is time women get paid what a man does for the same equal job that a man does.

MIxed feelings over love
I was just wondering why all week, all we’ve had is Love stories on the front page of the paper and there’s been tornadoes in Oklahoma City and Lone Grove. The love stories should have been on a different page and the news on the front. I think you’re slipping.
Scoopie’s response: We covered the Lone Grove and Oklahoma City twisters on other pages, because the love stories are about local people and our focus is on local and community people, events and happenings.

I just wanted to thank you for the love stories. With all the disaster from storms and the terrible economy mess, it was so wonderful to read these and loose one’s self in wonderful memories for a few minutes at least. I look forward to reading more each day. Thank you so much.

I’m sure I’m not the only on who enjoyed with tear-filled eyes the eloquent stories from the Ramsey family. May their beloved daddy’s Valentine legacy carry on for generations to come.
