Bryan St. might help Harrison congestion
In regards to extending Bryan Street to Interstate 40, I realize it would be very, very expensive but I don’t know if anyone has noticed how heavy the traffic is on Harrison at certain times of the day. The left-turn lane will be backed up to the exit at I-40 at different times of the day. People are either going to I-40 or they’re going to the mall. I’ve noticed this two or three times during the day and I thought Bryan leading to I-40 would relieve some of the traffic, but I worry about the money it’s going to cost.
Olympics articles would be appreciated
I was just wondering why we have not been reading anything about the Olympics in the paper — how many medals we have or any news about it. We’ve been watching it on television but it would be a little interesting to read something about it in the paper. We’d appreciate to see the number of awards we had.
Interchange money needed elsewhere
With all the cuts in education and other needed services, we certainly don’t need to be spending money on an unneeded Bryan Street interchange. Let’s reject the money. urge that the money be spent on real needs and challenge others to do likewise. It could make a difference.
