Where are the recycling bins located in Shawnee?
I would like to know where Shawnee’s recycling bins are.

Drip both hot and cold water during freezing temperatures
I just wanted to remind people that when you drip your faucet during a freeze, you need to drip both the hot and the cold. I did not know that, to my detriment, this past storm. I just wanted to pass on this information.

Obama has been destroying jobs, not creating them
Obama said he’s going to create jobs but how could he create jobs when he’s the one who destroyed the jobs.

I would like to thank all of the mail carriers and the newspaper carriers, especially Justin. He makes it a point that if he’s running late — our house sets back from the road — he always honks to let me know that he’s put the paper there. 45th Street not capable of handling interchange traffic
This is in reference to the Bryan Street interchange. I think what everyone has forgotten is that 45th Street, number one, it’s not an extra-wide two-lane. It’s on the right side and left side, there’s nothing but huge holes and if you accidentally get off too far, you end up damaging your car. So 45th Street is not an extra-wide two-lane. And if we put a four-lane coming off Bryan Road, 45th Street is not capable of handling all that traffic. So what are you going to do? Are you going to four-lane 45th Street too? No one’s thinking about the fact that 45th Street is not capable of handling all this traffic.

Some people cannot afford their own health insurance
Each one taking on their own health insurance is a good thought but being a retired nurse, I do know there are some very nice people — elderly and some with children — cannot afford it, insurance. It is too expensive but they are wonderful people. I have my own insurance but I also have a 90s car and a small screen TV. I live with the Lord.
