Shawnee, OK —

Residents respond to Henry action — pro and con

I can't believe that David Boren and Brad Henry endorsed Obama as president. If he got elected president, we would have a depression like we did in the early 30s. Believe that.

•••

I noticed in the paper there's a lot of comments about Henry's endorsement of Obama. Let's be fair to Brad Henry; he didn't have much of a choice. Hillary Clinton? Barack Obama? Give me a break. It was a lose-lose endorsemnt either way. What he should have done is had real guts and endorsed McCain. Hillary and Obama — that's no choice at all.

•••

I'm glad that people spoke about Obama and Henry endorsing Obama. Obama is very good guy and Henry is just endorsing what he believes in. That's what the government of Oklahoma needs to know. Just because everyone has different points of views, it  makes us more together. So don't be bashing Henry for picking someone other than Clinton. Everyone didn't vote for Clinton.

•••

I'm tired of people critizing Gov. Brad Henry for exercising his right to vote for anyone he chooses. He still has the freedon to vote for whomever he wants to.

•••

Add me to the list of people who are not happy with Brad Henry supporting Obama. I feel like this is a repeat of 30 pieces of silver.

•••

Two thumbs up for Gov. Henry. I voted for Obama. I'm white, I'm 60 plus and I'm a female. I didn't vote for Clinton because if she can't take care of her own household as in Monica and others, how can she run out country? I will not vote for Hillary, even if she does win. Thumbs up, Gov. Henry.

•••

What's up Brad Henry? All I can say in this situation is that Brad Henry and Obama equals political suicide.

Brad Henry is a brave man, willing to stand up for truth in the face of blind prejudice. You rock, brother.
