Pleased with  county fair information seen in the paper
I was quite pleased to read about the county fair and the rules and regulations for the vegetables and flower category. However, there are many of us who don’t grow gardens but we love to bake and sew and do photography and floral arranging and many other hobbies and it would certainly be helpful if you could put these categories of the entries in the newspaper so that we’ll know when to bring them in. And some people can learn more about our wonderful county fair and enter some of their hobbies.

Thank you for quick street repairs on 45th street
A big thank you to Mr. Brian McDougal, city manager. For years, 45th Street has had no real striping down the center. The county kept saying it was the city’s responsibility and the city said it belonged to the county. I spoke to Mr. McDougal at AARP Chapter 2654 meeting on Aug. 15 about this problem and in less than a week, the job was done. Thank you again.
