I would like to voice my opinion of the 2008 Arts, Wine and Music Festival. Honestly, I was quite disappointed. When I was downtown and from the picture in the Thursday, July 10, paper not many people turned out. I also felt sorry for the musicians playing on an uncovered stage in the hot sun. Whatever happened to our wonderful September Jazz Festivals? Could we have those back?
Scoopie, I’m calling because I’ve seen junior high and high school students in casinos. I know their ages because they are my grandchildren’s classmates. Also, some people are so drunk leaving the casino, especially on the weekends.
