What is the normal lake level?

The News-Star always lists the Shawnee Twin Lakes’ level but never what the normal is. I don’t know if it’s high or low.

Scoopie’s response: Thank you for bringing that to our attention. We will add that to our listing. The normal, that is when it is at full pool, is 1073.5 feet above sea level.

Desire for people to donate to cause

I would like to get some people interested in making a gift to help build the memorial at Woodland Veterans Park. I challenge others to join me in becoming one-star or more givers. Cecil Johnston, 273-4848.
