My letter dated 11-04-09 drew heavy fire on the statement that we weren’t a christian nation. I have to tell you that I got that from Obama himself. He said in one of his many speeches that we were no longer a christain nation.
When he says we are no longer such a nation, to me that says that he himself had us in that very catagory. You do believe him don’t you? I know what he was trying to tell us. He was telling us christians to move over that there was a new player at the table and that was his Muslim faith. I think those that deny our connection as a nation to the christian religion are a little off the track. I think we all know that the word christian is a blanket covering many religions all worshiping the same God. Obama is a muslim for my money and he will, in the future, promote his faith as he attempts his change. I am constantly amazed at people who are bright and intelligent but can not put all the pieces together to see whats going down. You will awaken one day and bingo it will come to you like a thief in the night. I will in my humble way keep the christian faith alive as it is part of my heritage. For others who you may do as you wish. I feel comfortable with what I have.
