For Love of Pets

Last week, kittens Smoochie and Pumpkin had their 15 minutes of fame on the News-Star pets page. Now their older, four-legged housemate, Toby, a 6-year-old dachshund, gets to have his turn. Owners Steve and Phyllis Rigney said they inherited him when Phyllis’ mother passed away. They also said, “He is very protective and a wonderful dog and he just loves (their) cats.”
