Members of the Student Life organization based in Birmingham, Ala., painted homes in Shawnee as part of the group's effort to participating in "Operation Paintbrush."
The group was here from Sunday through Wednesday, hoping to paint as many as three houses, but their efforts were stymied due to recent rainy weather.
