Back-to-school celebration planned Wednesday at Tecumseh First Baptist

Youth and their families are invited to a back-to-school event, Kids’ Celebration, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Tecumseh’s First Baptist Church.
Kids’ Celebration is a family event that features group interaction, music and high-energy games.
Kids’ Celebration is directed by Dr. Bill Buchanan, associate professor of recreation and leisure studies at Oklahoma Baptist University. He has taught at OBU for 20 years.
Buchanan’s goal is to share God’s love with children and parents as they participate in high-energy, interactive games. Buchanan is known for his ability to facilitate biblical learning and participate in God’s truths through gaming and recreation.
He has written games for organizations such as Team Kids and TM412. He also has provided camp recreation services in 21 states over the past 19 years.
