SHAWNEE, Okla. —
“The Bunch” at Emmanuel Episcopal Church meets at 11 a.m. every Thursday for study, brief optional worship and lunch opportunity. Everyone is welcome to attend. Beginning Aug. 21, the study component will consist of a series of videos titled “Mysteries of the Bible.” Topics include “Abraham — One Man, One God”; “The Ten Commandments”; “Queen Esther’s Jesus the Holy Child”;” The Execution of Jesus”; and “Paul the Apostle.”
The discussion group is moderated by lay minister Doyal Davis and the worship service is led by the Rev. Clark Shackelford, rector of the parish.
