Liberty Baptist speaker to talk about Jewish communities

Sondra Oster Baras, director of Christian Friends of Israeli Communities, will speak at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria.
Baras lives in Samaria. She will speak about the plight of Jewish communities in areas under Palestinian authority. She also will explain the mission of Christian Friends of Israeli Communities, which includes providing material goods and helping Jewish cities remain, even though they are no longer under Israel’s direct protection.
The public is invited to the presentation.
