Seminole church participates in Truth Project broadcast

Heartland Family Church, 214 W. Strother Ave. in Seminole, will participate in a satellite broadcast called The Truth Project on Sept. 27.
The Truth Project is an initiative of Focus on the Family, created by Senior Vice President Dr. Del Tackett. It offers a “systematic and comprehensive way to bring biblical truth to church communities across North America.”
At 8:15 a.m. Sept. 27, Focus on the Family will partner with the Church Communication Network (CCN) to launch The Truth Project via satellite.
Heartland Family Church invites people to learn how to lead this DVD-based small group curriculum in homes and community sites.
Tackett’s topics include: understanding and living the Christian worldview, the nature and character of God, God’s design for life (work, science, family, government, art, ethics and more) and marrying actions to core beliefs.
“Romans 12 tells us that Christians should think differently from the rest of the world. The sad reality is most of us don’t,” said Tom Newell, pastor of Heartland Family Church. “It is my hope and prayer that every church will send at least one representative to this important training event.”
