Aglow members attend conference

Two members of Shawnee Aglow International, Jereda Kizzia and Cathy Myers, recently attended the Aglow International Conference in Washington, D.C.
Kizzia is western area vice president of finances and Myers is vice president of administration. 
This year’s conference was titled, “A Voice for the Times.” 
People attending the conference heard from Sen. Sam Brownback, who talked about upcoming legislation and thanked them for praying for the nation. Other speakers addressed the conference, and performers included Brian Ming and others from Christ for the Nations School.
Aglow International has chapters in 172 countries. It is considered an interdenominational organization. 
The next local meeting is 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Baptist Church. The speaker will be Margaret Ward. For more information about Aglow, call Jane Vanderburg at 273-0812.
